On June 16, 2026, the 2026 China (Guangzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Fair opened at Area A of the Canton Fair Complex. The Guangzhou Nansha Global Cross-Border Trade Industrial Cluster (hereinafter referred to as "Nansha Cross-Border Trade Industrial Cluster") made its debut at the fair, attracting numerous exhibitors and merchants for consultation and cooperation.
Located at Lingshan Island Tip in the Pearl Bay area, the Nansha Cross-Border Trade Industrial Cluster leverages the dual national-level platform advantages of the Guangzhou Nansha Free Trade Pilot Zone and the Comprehensive Bonded Zone to provide one-stop comprehensive services for cross-border trade enterprises going global. Currently, the cluster is actively recruiting global industrial and trade enterprises, cross-border service providers, international business associations, and various industrial platforms, while continuously optimizing its services.
Precision Services: Cross-Border Enterprises Can Set Up in Just 3 Days
"I want to start an overseas social media marketing company in China, but I'm not familiar with the registration process for cross-border enterprises or the relevant policies," said entrepreneur Gu Jingjing when he recently visited the comprehensive service hall of the Nansha Cross-Border Trade Industrial Cluster.
In response to Gu's needs, staff members of the cluster meticulously compiled a checklist of required documents for cross-border enterprise registration—including business registration, tax registration, customs filing, and foreign exchange account opening—based on local regulations in Nansha, Guangzhou. They assisted Gu in organizing and submitting application materials, while also explaining key policies related to cross-border e-commerce, foreign-invested enterprise management, and local taxation.
From the initial communication to completing all approval procedures and officially moving into the office, it took only three days. Gu successfully established his overseas social media marketing company, becoming one of the first batch of enterprises to settle in the Nansha Cross-Border Trade Industrial Cluster.
Reflecting on his experience of setting up the company in Nansha, Gu noted that the park offers fully equipped office spaces, public meeting rooms, live-streaming venues, and other facilities, making it extremely convenient for businesses to "move in and start operating." Moreover, thanks to the one-stop comprehensive foreign trade services provided by the cluster, his company has already secured partnerships with multiple clients in Dubai real estate, local apparel, jewelry processing, and other sectors, laying a solid foundation for future growth.
Full-Cycle Support: Safeguarding Long-Term Business Operations
At Lingshan Island Tip, stories of enterprises pursuing global ambitions continue to unfold. "For the Nansha Cross-Border Trade Industrial Cluster and the region's development, it's not enough to just attract enterprises—we must retain them and help them thrive," said Wang Haishi, a senior official of the cluster. To address the long-term operational needs of cross-border trade enterprises, the cluster has introduced a national-level blockchain technology service provider to supply core capabilities such as digital infrastructure, integrated customs/tax/foreign exchange services, cross-border settlement, data assetization, and AI-powered intelligent operations. These technologies help resident cross-border trade enterprises operate globally in a compliant, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Additionally, the cluster has rolled out multiple support policies and routine ancillary services, including digital renminbi cross-border payments and small-currency settlement, to reduce cross-border fund transfer costs. It also offers tailored settlement plans and rental incentives for tenants of different scales and stages of development, alleviating operational pressure.
Currently, eight enterprises have settled in the Nansha Cross-Border Trade Industrial Cluster, covering cross-border service provision, digital technology R&D, international trade, and other fields. Leveraging the mature industrial ecosystem formed by leading cross-border platforms such as Shein and Temu within the Guangzhou Nansha Comprehensive Bonded Zone, enterprises in the cluster can share resources, promote upstream and downstream synergy, and achieve clustered development. Small and medium-sized enterprises going global no longer have to fight alone—they become part of a full-industry-chain ecosystem, sharing high-quality supporting resources such as shipping routes, logistics networks, and international certifications.
